When Bigelow wants you to feel our protagonists’ fears, you will feel them. Whether it is a shot we hear but don’t see or a body making contact with the floor, this is trauma turned up to 11.
Leave Sophia Coppola Alone (Sort Of)
Coppola may have just made the whitest film of 2017 and it is set in Civil War Virginia. We can’t not talk about this. But at the same time, we might be better served by a different conversation.
